On August 4, Hengrui Medicine announced positive top-line results from the Phase III study (HRS9531-303) in China evaluating Ribupatide injection (HRS9531/KAI-9531-T) head-to-head against semaglutide(Cas #910463-68-2) injection for glycemic control. Both the 4mg and 2mg dosage groups of Ribupatide injection met the pre-specified primary endpoint: the change in HbA1c from baseline was non-inferior to that of the 1mg semaglutide injection group. Based on these results, Hengrui Medicine plans to submit a New Drug Application (NDA) in China in the near future for Ribupatide injection for glycemic control in adults with type 2 diabetes.
